Really good Stay, A True Gem
fine decor friendly staff valet parking
The hotel showcases fine decor. The rooms feel amazing. The staff are genuinely friendly. They know the area quite well. I appreciated the valet parking. It proved a huge bonus. Two complimentary drinks were also a nice touch. We loved the cozy vibe, especially sitting by the fire sipping wine.

The breakfast setup was not ideal. I expected a separate breakfast room instead of delivery to the room. The staff started the dishwasher but left it for ME to empty. I DO NOT expect to empty dishwashers while on holiday.

the apartment itself was acceptable. it had the basic amenities, so i guess it was fine.
The breakfast setup was quite odd. i assumed there would be a dedicated breakfast area, but it was brought to the room instead. Not what i wanted, it felt a bit intrusive. additionally, the staff ran the dishwasher but didn't empty it. emptying a dishwasher isn't really part of what i expect on holiday.

welcome snacks standard finish
i stayed in a duplex suite. i loved the cooked snacks delivered to my room upon arrival.. they were a lovely touch. the hotel had a very high standard finish.
the staff put the dishwasher on, but it wasn't emptied, and i didn't expect to empty a dishwasher during my holiday.

The staff was very personable even before i arrived, answering my questions. the building has beautiful walks nearby. staff members booked taxis. It worked out smoothly. the breakfast was fabulous and catered very well for gluten-free needs.

The location was good. It was easy to reach various local attractions.
I found a couple of things disappointing. The minibar was not replenished daily (I expected it, given the hotel rating). the gym was smaller than I anticipated. It only had one treadmill and a limited selection of free weights (this really limited my workout options).
